Turkey ranked seventh in the world as the best country to live and work

Turkey ranked seventh in the world as the best country to live and work, after New Zealand and Australia, according to a survey conducted by the British HSBC Holdings Group of more than 18,000 foreign employees from 163 countries around the world.

The survey examined the range of opportunities offered by countries to expatriates in terms of quality of life, the balance between work and the private environment of the expatriate and the financial return.

According to the poll, 62 percent of expatriates in Turkey showed an increase in quality of life compared to their countries. 52 percent said they had more time to spend with their families or practice hobbies in Turkey, while 55 percent were able to meet their need for a better home and a car.
Sixty-nine percent said they felt secure in Turkey and were close to the local population.
